Dr. Chan works as a clinician and researcher at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's (DFCI) Department of Gastrointestinal Oncology. In addition, Dr. Chan is the Clinical Director of DFCI's Program in Neuroendocrine and Carcinoid Tumors.

Dr. Chan received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in 2000. She subsequently completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital and her fellowship in Medical Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Since joining Dana-Farber, she has developed broad expertise in the treatment of patients with neuroendocrine tumors. In addition to her clinical practice, she has lectured widely and published several articles on treatment approaches for patients with pancreatic neuroendocrine or carcinoid tumors. She has also played a leading role in the development of novel neuroendocrine tumor therapies; She has served as the principal investigator of several Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center clinical trials for patients with neuroendocrine tumors.
