The goal of the NET cancer awareness day is to increase awareness of neuroendocrine cancers and provide a platform for the greater NET community for improved diagnostics, treatment, information, care, and research. This year's theme is "early diagnosis makes a difference."

Supporting the day is easy. Here are a few things to consider:

  • Join the NET community worldwide on November 10th by participating in virtual conversations about neuroendocrine cancer using the hashtag, #LetsTalkAboutNETs.
  • Like, post and share NANETS' short NET awareness videos posted throughout the day Monday and Tuesday, November 9 and 10.
  • Be an ambassador for NET awareness and commit to making a difference by working with the medical community to:
    • Educate all medical professionals on neuroendocrine cancer and what to look for to help provide the proper diagnosis
    • Be a mentor to an early career medical professional interested in diagnosis, treatment and research related to neuroendocrine cancer
    • Advance the message of NET disease awareness by encouraging patients to participate in NET patient organizations
    • Support patients in encouraging their medical professionals to join NET medical societies like NANETS to learn from, and share information with, the multidisciplinary NET medical community
