Lauren Fishbein, MD, PhD, MTR is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at the University of the Colorado School of Medicine in the Division of Endocrinology, Metabolism and Diabetes with a secondary appointment in the Division of Biomedical Informatics and Personalized Medicine. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry from Vassar College and earned her MD, PhD degree from the University of Florida with a PhD in Molecular Genetics. She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Harvard’s Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston and her Endocrinology Fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania where she also completed a Master’s in Translational Research. Her research and clinical interests are in neuroendocrine tumor genetics with a focus on pheochromocytomas and paragangliomas.
